2 Principles of Data Processing

Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your name, age, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, IP address, or user behavior. Information that cannot be attributed to your person (or only with disproportionate effort), for example, by anonymizing the information, is not personal data.

The processing of personal data (such as collection, querying, use, storage, or transmission) always requires a legal basis or your consent. Processed personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of processing has been achieved and there are no longer any legally required retention obligations.

An IP address is the address that an internet user uses on the internet. In the vast majority of cases, IP addresses are "dynamically assigned," which means that the assignment of a real person to an IP address only exists for a certain period of time. Internet providers regularly delete these tables in which these assignments are stored after a few weeks. It is then no longer possible to trace who was using a specific IP address at a specific time.

A customer can generally visit our website without providing any personal information. If the customer wants to subscribe to our newsletter or use certain functions of our website, personal data will be collected. These will be stored and processed by us with the help of automation, but will not be disclosed to third parties.

If we process your personal data for the provision of certain services, we will inform you below about the specific processes, scope, and purpose of data processing, the legal basis for processig, and the respective storage period.
